One of the most prestigious and large-scale forums in Bulgaria will be held on June 6, 2023 at the Sofia Event Center with the participation of Geoff Gottlieb, Senior Regional Representative of the IMF for Central, Eastern, and Southeastern Europe, Sandra Švalek, Deputy Governor of the Croatian national bank and other representatives of European and international institutions
In the midst of new global and local economic and financial upheavals, the 14th edition of the SOUND OF MONEY event will provide answers to the most important questions related to growth, the prospects for the European and Bulgarian economy, the exact steps for our country’s accession to the Eurozone and other key topics concerning the progress of the Bulgarian economy in the global context.
The transformation of the banking sector in our country, strategies for sustainable business development (ESG), the management of corporate and personal finances, as well as the dynamics of capital markets in the context of global challenges, are the other main topics of the forum.
The event, which is organized by Profit.bg, part of the leading Swiss media group Ringier AG, will be held in five main panels and with the participation of representatives of international and European institutions.
The headline speakers at SOUND OF MONEY 2023 – Geoff Gottlieb from the IMF, Sandra Švalek from the Croatian National Bank, experts from the EIB and other institutions – will be joined by Berlin-based economic journalist Matthew Karnitschnig, Chief Europe correspondent for the global media organization POLITICO. He will speak about Europe’s industrial position vis-à-vis the world’s leading economic powers, looking at the EU’s winning moves to increase its competitiveness and their impact on smaller markets such as Bulgaria.
On the part of business and financial institutions in our country, representatives of senior management will participate in the forum, including managers at UniCredit Bulbank, Postbank, tbi bank, BACB, UNIQA, Philip Morris, Nestlé, EOS Group, Amundi Asset Management, Markan.
